came early, no product damage. was as described. using for a 9ft round umbrella with no issue. in high wind umbrella is closed or taken down. plan on keeping knob oiled as thats the first thing to go.

We were looking for a 50 pound umbrella base. I had a hard time finding one that didn’t need to be filled with water or sand. So we settled for this one. Which is a little lighter weight. But it’s working out great! We love the look of it! And because it’s such a wide base it really is much sturdier than a heavier base that is not as wide. Definitely performing better than expected. We live in Florida with high gusts during tropical thunderstorms and it’s performed better than our older base that was heavier (50#) but smaller in size.

I needed a heavy-duty umbrella base to cope with the frequent down-draft (monsoon) winds we receive in my area. This 42-pound stable base is just the ticket and keeps my large umbrella stable. I take care to keep my umbrella closed in peak wind and don't worry about the whole set tipping over. Super product.

We purchased an 11 foot umbrellas with solar lights and a pole inner diameter of 1.9 inches. It was difficult to find stands that would 1)support a 11 foot umbrella; and 2) that had a large enough pole inner diameter. This umbrella stand does both. It is heavy - 50 lbs - but it needs to be to support this large umbrella. It is good-looking, sturdy, and perfect for our umbrella. Thank you!

This base is heavy, so my umbrella isn’t going anywhere. And…it is quite attractive. Too bad it’s hidden beneath my large table.
